Auburn held an intrasquad performance yesterday in front of their fans at Auburn Arena. Head Coach Jeff Graba said he was pleased with the teamÂ’s overall performance, according to AU Athletics. The younger athletes were able to practice competing on the arena's equipment, the upperclassmen were reacclimated to it, everyone stayed safe, and “at the end of the day, we got everything done that we wanted to,” Graba said.

Senior Lexus Demurs said the Tigers are making big progress in these weeks leading up to season and noted that there is strong depth on the squad. Â“We are dependent on the freshmen,” Demers said. “They all came in ready to go and they are in the lineup and competing for their spot, so it is a competition within the gym which is great. That is why we have so much depth.”

The Tigers had a momentous 2014 season, in which they qualified to the Super Six competition for the first time since 1993. They are looking to build on their successful year in 2016, and are starting by focusing on their season opener at Oregon State on Jan. 10.
