The USA men have just won their first World team medal since Paul Hamm and company secured the silver back in 2003. The strong team of Danell Leyva, Jonathan Horton, Steven Legendre, John Orozco, Jake Dalton, and Alex Naddour hit 17 or 18 routines in tonight's Team Final. In dramatic fashion, they passed Russia on high bar in the final rotation of the night to earn themselves a place on the medal podium. 

The Chinese were once again dominant and successfully defended their World title anchored by an incredible floor routine from 2008 Olympic Floor Champion Zou Kai.

Japan nearly slipped into the bronze medal position after a surprise fall on a kovacs from reigning World Champion Kohei Uchimura in the team's final routine of the night. The USA contingent thought they would move up to the silver medal position, once the final tallies appeared, the Japanese still had the slightest edge. In the end, it was China gold, Japan silver, and USA bronze.
