"Ginnaste," a series about Italian elite gymnasts on Italian MTV
In 2011, Italian MTV ran a series on the lives of Italian elite gymnasts who live and train in Milan.  The series chronicles the lives of Carlotta Ferlito, Elisabetta ("Betta) Preziosa, Guilia Leni, Alessia Scantamburlo, Sara Riccardi, Elanora Rando, and Jessica Mattoni.  It follows the gymnasts' training, competitions (including the 2011 European Championships and Italian national championships), school, and friendships.  Notably missing, except at competitions, is Vanessa Ferrari, who trains at another gym.

The series is available on YouTube with English subtitles.  Each episode has two parts. Episode 1, part 1 is embedded below.  You can view subsequent episodes from here, or go to YouTube and see the related videos on the page (e.g., "Ginnaste - Episode 1 (Part 2)").  Per the comments below, the people who are very helpfully translating the series into English subtitles are continuing to add new episodes, including those leading up to Worlds.
