Great article on boston.com about Olympic hopeful, Aly Raisman, of Needham, MA.  The article looks ahead to this Olympic year and Aly's chances of making the Olympic team.  It highlights Aly's many successes in gymnastics, and describes how she tries to balance her extraordinary accomplishments with a normal teenage life, including spending time with family and friends and planning to attend prom, graduation, and ultimately, college. 

Seventeen-year-old Aly stepped up as team leader at the 2011 World Championships when teammate Alicia Sacramone tore her achilles shortly before the competition.  Aly helped lead team USA to a gold medal, and won an indiviudal bronze on floor. She also advanced to the all around, where she finished fourth in the world.  Earlier in 2011, Aly won the gold in the all around at the Cover Girl Classic, and finished third in the all around at the 2011 Visa Championships, behind world champion Jordyn Weiber and world vault champion, Mykayla Maroney.
