IGI Chicago Style

Feb 10-12

For the 3rd year in a row, Gymnastike will provide video coverage of the largest invitational meet in the world, the IGI Chicago Style at Navy Pier! Every year, the level of talent at this meet is unreal. There are five full sessions of level 10's and a premiere level 10/elite session on Saturday night which serves as a qualifier to the 2012 Nastia Liukin Supergirl Cup.

Chicago Style College Session: #7 UCLA, #15 Boise State, #18 Missouri, #19 Illinois

The annual IGI Chicago Style competition features the biggest NCAA match up of the weekend with four top-20 ranked teams competing in a special session of this club meet. You'll get the inside look at #7 UCLA, #15 Boise State, #18 Missouri and #19 Illinois. The Missouri Tigers are undefeated on the season and Bruin Samantha Peszek is undefeated in the all around. Competition begins at 7:30. You can expect updates, competition video, interviews, and insights.

Men's: #13 UIC at #2 Illinois

Gymnastike intern Emily Bayci will be on hand as the sister schools face each other in a dual meet at Huff Hall at 5 p.m. Illinois will be resting many of its top athletes after the U.S. Winter Cup Challenge so we'll get a true look at the depth of Justin Spring's talented team.

Perfect 10 Challenge: #5 Oklahoma, Iowa State, and SEMO 

Part of the Bart and Nadia Sports and Health Festival, the Perfect 10 challenge will be held in downtown Oklahoma City at the Cox Convention Center. Teams participating include Oklahoma, Iowa State, and Southeastern Missouri. Gymnastike intern Whitney Ewing will provide video coverage.

Best of Minnesota

The University of Minnesota women's gymnastics team hosts their annual Best of Minnesota with guests Winona State, Gustavus, and Hamline University. This is a cool event which allows fans to see the variety of college gymnastics in the state of Minnesota. Gymnastike intern Ryan Pandl will capture all the highlights.

TWU vs. Centenary

MAC Match up: Northern Illinois at Bowling Green State

Sat, Feb 11

Mid-American Conference rival Northern Illinois travels to Bowling Green State to take on the Falcons in their annual "Pink Meet." BGSU finished third in a tri-meet against Maryland and UNC last week, posting its lowest score since week one (191.500). NIU defeated Ball State at home, overcoming a 1.225 deficit to earn its first MAC win. The teams are very close in the rankings, with BGSU averaging 191.680 to NIU's 191.370. Bulldog Invitational: Bridgeport, RIC, and SC at Yale

The Bulldogs, coming off a season-high team score of 190.275, will play host to Bridgeport, Rhode Island College and Springfield College this Saturday at the Bulldog Invitational. The competition is part of the Yale University Athletic Department's fifth-annual "Pink Zone" weekend.
