Last weekend, Gymnastike covered a record 11 gymnastics meets, and this weekend we're back for more. Below you can find out where Gymnastike will be this weekend and the best ways to follow our events.
Top Texas Meet - Kim Zmeskal's Texas Prime
Friday
For the fourth consecutive year, Gymnastike will give you an inside look at one of the most exciting gymnastics competitions in Texas, the Texas Prime Meet hosted by Kim Zmeskal and Texas Dreams Gymnastics. On Friday, 200 level 9 and 10 gymnasts will compete for 30 qualifying spots to Saturday's Legendz Classic Finals where they'll get to compete for an Olympic or World Champion gymnastics legend. Top teams competing include Texas Dreams, Geddert's Twistars, WOGA, North Shore, Elite Champion, WGA, and more.
Bowling Green at #16 Missouri
Friday Night
Missouri is coming off an excellent meet last weekend at home against OU. Despite losing the meet to the higher ranked Sooners, they set a season-high score of 196.375. Bowling Green is a team to watch on floor where they rank 1st in the MAC Conference and 25th nationally. Gymnastike interns Danny Sierra and Nichole Cartmell will showcase the event.

Gymnastics Legends Become Team Captains - Kim Zmeskal's Legendz Classic
Saturday Night
The highlight of the Texas Prime Meet is the Saturday night session, the Legendz Classic. Top 30 Level 9's and 10's from Friday's Texas Prime are placed on one of three teams, captained by Olympic and World champion gymnasts. On Gymnastike you can expect to see complete coverage of the event including videos of routines, interviews, highlights, and behind the scenes videos with the gymnasts and "Legendz".
The 2012 team captains are:
2004 Olympic Champion Carly Patterson, 2003 World uneven bars Champion Hollie Vise, and a 3-time Olympic Champion with a total of 14 World and Olympic medals, Svetlana Boguinskaia.
Nation's Top Team Home at Last - #12 Iowa at #1 Oklahoma
Saturday night
For four straight weeks, the Oklahoma men's gymnastics team has held the nation's #1 ranking and they have yet to compete in front of a home crowd! The Sooners will finally get their chance this Saturday and Whitney Ewing will be there to give you an all access view at the country's top team. OU is led by 2011 World bronze medalist Jake Dalton, currently the #1 ranked gymnast in the all around and on floor. Iowa had a slow start to the season but is coming off a season-high score of 334.50 last weekend.

Top in the EAGL - #23 West Virginia at #30 New Hampshire
Saturday night
The 2nd and 3rd ranked teams in the EAGL Conference will meet for the first time this season. It should be an extremely tight contest. WVU is led by sophomore Hope Sloanhoffer, the league's top ranked all around gymnast. David Pendrys will provide video coverage of the event.
