Meets of Follow this Weekend: Cal Classic, Northern Lights, and NCAA Showdowns!
We had a blast covering top elite gymnasts at American Cup last weekend, and now we're back in action at club and collegiate meets around the country, headlined by the super competitive Califonia Classic in SoCal! Below is the rundown of meets you can watch on Gymnastike this weekend. 



California Classic
For the first year, Gymnastike will showcase one of the largest meets on the west coast, the California Classic hosted by SCEGA in Southern California. This meet will feature great level 9, 10, and open sessions including teams from California, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Texas, Oregon, and Utah. Top teams to watch include Airborne, All Olympia, Brown's NV, Gliders, Gym-Max, Olympus, Precision, SCEGA, Wallers, Wildfire, and more! This is the final invitational before the hyper competitive California State meet!

Northern Lights Classic
For the third straight year, Gymnastike will provide video coverage of one of the best club meets in the midwest, the Northern Lights Classic hosted by Twin City Twisters in Minneapolis. This year's meet features 1115 gymnasts from 59 teams all over the country and and includes our favorite event finals session. Top teams to watch this year include Auburn, Chow's, Classic, KGDS, Flips, IGI, LaFluer's, Olympia, TAGS, Triad, North Shore, Show Me, and the amazing host team, Twin City Twisters. Amy Kleefisch will give you the inside view of this competition.

You can also catch NCAA action on Gymnastike this weekend as the NCAA regular season winds down! Below are the list of meets we'll feature: 
 
Brown, SCSU at Bridgeport
The Bridgeport Purple Knights are on a hot streak, breaking their program team record twice so far this season. Can they do it again? You'll have two opportunities to watch them on Gymnastike this weekend. David Pendrys will provide video coverage of the first on Thursday night

#5 Georgia at #20 Michigan
Gymnastike intern Tori Kane will be on hand as the 10-time NCAA Champion Gym Dogs roll into Ann Arbor on Friday night for their annual dual with Big 10 powerhouse Michigan.

#14 Missouri at #4 Alabama
Mizzou and Bama will compete one more time before becoming SEC Conference Rivals and Ben Smith will be there for all the action. 
 
 
#8 Michigan men at #1 Oklahoma
The Michigan men head to Norman to take on the #1 ranked Sooners and the NCAA's top ranked gymnast, Jake Dalton on Saturday night in the very arena where the 2012 men's NCAA Nationals will take place, the Lloyd Noble Center. Video coverage by Whitney Ewing. 
 
 
Towson, WCU at Rutgers
Coming off a season-high team score of 193.175 and a first place finish in a quad meet at Cornell last weekend, Rutgers University gymnastics returns home for Senior Day meet against Towson University and West Chester University on Saturday afternoon. David Pendrys will provide video coverage.
 
 
#17 Arizona at #27 New Hampshire
David Pendrys will hit the road once again for UNH as they host Pac-12 team Arizona on Senior Day on Sunday afternoon
 
 
Bowling Green at Kent State 
Danny Sierra will give us our first look at the Cinderella team of last year, Kent State as the BGSU ladies hit the road to face their MAC Conference rival on Sunday afternoon


Bridgeport and Penn at Maryland
The Maryland gymnastics team will host their home finale with Bridgeport and Penn on Sunday afternoon. Can Bridgeport upset the Terps on Senior Day? Christine Miller will showcase the event.
