The Chicago Tribune reports that Nastia, who returned to serious training approximately six months ago, is poised to return to competition for the first time in nearly three years.  By all accounts, Nastia is training with her sights set on the Olympics, but understands that she may not be making the trip to London.  She reportedly told the Tribune:  "If I'm on the team, that's amazing . . . .  If I don't quite fit into that puzzle, I have to accept that, too."

The Secret Classic, to be held Saturday, May 26 in Chicago, IL, is the final opportunity for Nastia, and all other Olympic hopefuls, to qualify for the Visa Championships.  The Visa Championships, to be held June 7-10 in St. Louis, MO, will determine who qualifies for the Olympic Trials in San Jose, CA, June 28 to July 1.  The Olympic team will be announced at the conclusion of the Olympic Trials.
