The Gators are looking to trade in the traditional orange and blue for a pink-out in the “O’Dome.” Florida’s Link to Pink meet is held to raise awareness for breast cancer and celebrate the survivors.

Both Florida and Auburn will wear a different shade of pink and enter the competition with cancer survivors by their side. Several Florida gymnasts have family members who have been affected by breast cancer. Kytra Hunter lost her grandmother to the aggressive disease, and the Caquatto sisters have three survivors in their family.

Full of emotion the Gators will compete against the Tigers in front of what is likely to be a record crowd in the swamp.

Auburn’s freshman all-arounder Caitlin Atkinson will be one to watch out for with big skills on every event. Tiger’s sophomore Bri Guy is also capable of some high marks.

However, Florida should have the upper hand with Kytra Hunter being the No. 1 gymnast in the nation on bars and in the all-around. Junior Mackenzie Caquatto scored a perfect 10.0 on bars last week, and senior Ashanée Dickerson won the SEC gymnast of the week award.
