COLUMBUS, Ohio- The 20th ranked Ohio State Buckeyes will welcome their long-time rivals, the Michigan Wolverines, into St. John Arena this Friday at 7 pm EST.  The Wolverines are currently ranked 3rd in the nation and are led by top all-arounders junior Joanna Sampson and senior Katie Zurales who are currently ranked 6th and 10th nationally.

Michigan is coming off a win this past weekend at home against Iowa, posting a 196.675, their second lowest team score of the season.

The Buckeyes suffered a loss last week against another Big Ten opponent, the No. 28 ranked Nittany Lions of Penn State. Ohio State is currently suffering from senior all-arounder and All-American Colleen Dean being out due to injury, as well as freshman Audrey Tolbert, who contributed to the Buckeyes line up in vault and floor in the first three meets of the season, out sick.

This season Junior All-American Sarah Miller, who is currently ranked No. 11 nationally on beam and No. 14 on floor and vault, has been a steady leader for the Buckeyes. Senior Aly Marohn has also stepped up for the team, competing in the all-around for the first time in her career at Ohio State last weekend, and contributing weekly in the Buckeyes line-ups.

Ohio State is ranked fourth in the Big Ten standings and will look to upset the Wolverines who are ranked first in every event in the conference.
