After a successful training camp at the Karolyi Ranch, Nia Dennis of Buckeye Gymnastics has been added to the USA Junior National Team.

Dennis narrowly missed qualifying to the National Team at the 2012 Visa Championships, tying for 7th all around in her first appearance at elite nationals. Other highlights from her 2012 season include all around victories at both the Buckeye Classic and Gliders Invitational and finishing 5th all around at the Nastia Liukin Cup.

The 14-year-old trains at Buckeye Gymnastics in Ohio amongst a group of promising young athletes coached by Kittia Carpenter, Li Li, Sasha Timchenko, Philip Todorov, and Christian Gallardo. Click here to watch them train in Workout Wednesday.

Dennis is now the fourth member of the USA Junior Women's National team. The majority of the team named at the 2012 Visa Championships has moved up to the senior elite level in 2013. Dennis joins Amelia Hundley of Cincinnati Gymnastics, Bailie Key of Texas Dreams Gymnastics, and Polina Shchennikova of Tigar on the Junior National Team.

The 2013-2014 USA Junior and Senior National teams will be named at the 2013 U.S. Championships in Hartford August 15-18.
