Earlier today, the men's and women's all around finals wrapped up at the 2013 European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF). The men kicked off the morning, and after a fierce competition Brinn Bevan of Great Britain claimed the top spot with an all around total of 85.2. Bevan posted the top scores on the floor, rings, and pommel horse bolstering him to a commanding lead. Bevan's teammate Nile Wilson took second place with an 83.7. Wilson held top honors on the high bar and parallel bars. Wilson's p-bars score of 14.65 was the highest score posted by any athlete in the competition making him a front-runner for the event finals taking place Friday, July 19. Ivan Stretovich of Russia grabbed the Bronze with an all around score of 83 even.

Kim Janas, Maria Kharenkova, and Tyesha Mattis at the 2013 EYOF Women's All Around Final.
On the women's side, Maria Kharenkova of Russia and Kim Janas of Germany tied for first with a 54.95. However, the EYOF breaks ties, so Kharenkova took the Gold with Janas settled for Silver. Tyesha Mattis of Great Britain finished with the Bronze with a 54.85. High difficulty scores set these three leading ladies apart from the rest of the competition. Kharenkova performed a particularly clean floor routine featuring a double arabian, and Mattis easily stuck her double twisting double back. Likewise, Janas's bar routine impressed with garceful release moves, a jeager and pak salto among them.
