World All Around Favorites Simone Biles and Kyla Ross
The World Championships are right around the corner, and Team USA is prepared to make a big impact at the world's most competitive event. Two US stars in particular, Simone Biles and Kyla Ross, come into the event as favorites. Each gymnast possesses her own unique flair for the sport and each will come into the event having achieved the highest All Around score of any athlete this year at 60.500.
A Contrast in Styles
The gymnastics world is no stranger to Fierce Five star and Olympic gold medalist, Kyla Ross. She is a beautiful gymnast, known for her calm behavior in competition and ability to deliver consistent routines. Her artistry and international style have produced some of the best execution scores in the world. Simone Biles, on the other hand, has turned into a breakout star in her first year as a senior elite gymnast. She is known for her powerhouse vaulting and tumbling in addition to her difficult skills across all four events. Biles is the 2013 US National All Around champion. She also competes the highest all around D Score in the World, a full point higher than Ross.
