Simone Biles Undergoes Surgery


2013 World All Around and Floor Champion Simone Biles will undergo surgery today in order to have a bone spur removed from the bottom of her right tibia. The procedure is expected to sideline the star gymnast for only three weeks.
Biles tweeted just before heading into surgery:

Biles delivered stellar performances during the World Championships and left Anwerp as the most decorated female gymnast, claiming two golds, a silver, and a bronze.
