Nastia Liukin to Work for NBC in Sochi

2008 Olympic All Around Champion Nastia Liukin will join the NBC broadcast team for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia. The Games will kick off February 6th.
Liukin, a dual Russian-U.S. citizen who was born in Moscow, will serve as a reporter for NBC Olympics’ multi-platform coverage and will present daily features for "The Olympic Zone", a 30-minute daily show for NBC affiliates.
The network announced Wednesday that Liukin's role would include daily features for "The Olympic Zone," a 30-minute show for NBC affiliates.
Liukin began working with NBC during the 2012 London Olympic Games, a few weeks after her final gymnastics competition, the U.S. Olympic Trials. She began with online coverage and has since served as an analyst for NBC Sports Group’s gymnastics coverage. In addition to working with NBC, Liukin is pursuing a sports management degree at NYU.
