Five women's collegiate gymnastics teams have joined together to form a new NCAA Gymnastics Conference. The group is looking to become the Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference beginning the 2014-15 season when the conference is fully recognized by the NCAA.
The University of Denver, currently ranked 18th nationally, will headline the Conference. They will be joined by Utah State, Southern Utah University, Boise State and Brigham Young.
The Denver Pioneers along with USU, SUU, and BSU were a part of the Western Athletic Conference the previous two years.
