Gators steal #1 spot

In the latest NCAA rankings, the Florida Gators are now #1. Oklahoma moves to second place, over 1 tenth behind Florida. The rankings at this point in the season are still by average and Georgia is the only team in the top 25 with enough competitions to have an RQS, Regional Qualifying Score. These rankings are according to gyminfo for February 3rd and do not account for any meets on the day of Febrary 3rd.
Kytra Hunter and Bridget Sloan continue the Florida lead and Kytra is ranked 1st in all-around and floor while Bridget is ranked 1st on vault. Lindsey Cheek from Georgia is 1st on bars and McKenzie Wofford and Samanthe Peszek are tied for 1st on beam.

Florida hosted Oklahoma in the matchup of the weekend and Florida came out on top with a 197.775. That was enough to push their team average to a 197.413 which placed them 1st in the nation. LSU and Utah remain 3 and 4 and Georgia moved up one place to 5th.

Kytra Hunter is now #1 in all-around rankings followed closely by Joanna Sampson and Rheagan Courville. The all-around average of spots 1 through 6 are less than 1 tenth in apart so the competition is extremely close.

Kytra Hunter has been on a roll and posted another incredible 10 on floor for the second week in a row! Lloimincia Hall also scored a 10 on floor this past weekend at home. As a team, Florida ranks 1st on floor. They posted an amazing 49.875 on floor in their home opener.
