Wednesday Women’s Results- Team and All-Around Competition

Session 1: (Singapore, Peru, Phillipines, Australia)
Australia lead the first session of competition today and finished with a team score of 206.2. They were the only country in this session with the required minimum of four gymnasts to form a team score.

Georgia-Rose Brown had the highest all-around score for the seniors with a 55.05 and Aya Meggs had the highest all-around score for the juniors with a 50.4. Brown had all of the individual event highs with a 14.25 on vault, 14.3 on bars, 13.5 on beam, and 13.0 on floor. For the juniors, Meggs had the vault high of 13.8 and the bars high of 12.95. Emily Whitehead had the beam high of 12.5 and floor high of 13.1

Session 2: (Chinese Taipei, Costa Rica, New Zealand, Japan)
Japan lead session two with solid performances on all four events. They finished with a team score of 213.8. Chinese Taipei scored a 170.45 and Costa Rica finished with a  154.5

The seniors were lead by Chinami Otaki who had a 54.05 all-around score. Courtney McGregor had the vault high of 14.3 and floor high of 13.5. Otaki had the bars high with a 14.35 and beam high of 13.15. Japan’s Ayu Koike had the highest junior score of a 53.75. Koike had the vault high of 14.1, bar high of 13.25, beam high of 12.95, and floor high of 13.45.

Session 3: (USA, Canada, China, Hong Kong, Panama)

USA dominated their session and finished with a big 237.0. Canada finished second with a 222.7 and China third with a 222.4.

Elizabeth Price had the highest all-around score for the seniors with a massive 59.9. She also had the highest vault of a 15.7, bars of a 15.0, and floor of a 15.1. Canada's Ellie Black scored the high on beam of 15.0. Bailie Key had the highest all-around score for the juniors with a 59.25. She had the highs on vault with a 15.3, beam with a 14.85, and tied floor with Nia Dennis both scoring 14.75. China's Huan Luo had the high on bars with a 14.7.
