Men's Results from Thursday: Team and All-Around

Group 1 team & all-around (Costa Rica, Chinese Taipei, Mexico, Philippines, Hong Kong, Colombia)

Chinese Taipei lead the first men's session with a team score of 195.25. Mexico was the only other country with a team score and they received a 284.6.

Colombia's Jossimar Calvo lead the seniors and scored an 82.1. He also scored the highest on parallel bars with a 15.6 and the top high bar score with a 14.55. Reyland Capellan from the Philippines scored the high on floor of a 14.2, Jorge Giraldo of Colombia received the high on pommel of a 12.55, Kiu Chung Ng from Hong Kong got the high on rings of a 15.55, and Wai Hung Shek of Hong Kong scored the high on vault of a 14.7. There were only three juniors competing in this session and Yu-Chen Lee of Chinese Taipei scored the high of 69.05, followed by Francisco Javier Rodriguez Moran of Mexico who scored a 65.0.

Group 2 team & all-around (Peru, New Zealand, USA, China, Japan, Canada, Australia); Awards

After an up and down meet, USA fought until the end and clinched gold with a 338.55. Japan came in second with a 333.55 and Canada took third with a 326.4. 

For the seniors, John Orozco took first with a 87.2. Toshiya Ikejiri of Japan took second with an 85.05 and Yuto Murakami took third with an 84.9. Orozco had the high on rings with a 15.05 and high on high bar with a 15.4. Scott Morgan of Canada had the high on floor with a 15.25, Alex Naddour had the high on pommel with a 15.0, Chris Brooks has the vault high of a 14.75, and Wentian Lu of China had the p bar high of 15.15.

 
For the juniors, Kakeru Tanigawa of Japan had the all-around high of 82.7 and Alec Yoder and Marty Strech both from USA tied for second with an 80.4. Tanigawa had the high on floor of 14.45 as well as high bar with a 14.0. Kenya Yuasa had the pommel high of 13.95, Yoder had the rings high of 13.7, Clay Stephens of Australia had the vault high of 14.15, and Mingqi Huang of China had the p bar high of 14.1.
