Great Britain, Russia, and Ukraine Lead the Field in Men's Qualifications
On day two of the men’s European Championships, it was the seniors who took the stage for their team, all-around, and individual qualification round.
 
The top qualifying team for Saturday’s final was Great Britain, with a total score of 267.076. Qualifying in second was Russia (264.304), while Ukraine took the third qualifying spot with a 261.277. Also moving on to the final are Belarus (260.161), France (259.779), the Netherlands (258.661), Germany (254.627), and Romania (254.054).
 
The top 24 individual all-around finishers were also determined by today’s competition, as there is no senior AA final. Leading the field by a 1.7 margin was Oleg Verniaiev of the Ukraine (88.590), followed by Andrey Likhovitskiy of Belarus (86.898) and the Netherlands’ Bart Deurloo (85.098). The all-around field was quite diverse, with the top 24 finishers coming from 23 different countries. The apparatus finalists were also selected based on the day’s results, with eight gymnasts competing for individual medals on Sunday, May 25th. A complete list of qualifiers is shown below.
