Daria Spiridonova starts her routine with a more energetic, powerful dance style compared to her previous teammates. Double pike first pass. Attempts a double turn with her leg up, not fully completed. Beautiful leaps, splits greatly surpass the requirement of 180 degrees- gorgeous flexibility. 12.833 to anchor the event and add to the team score.

While Russia hit 5 for 5 routines on their first event, they had slight errors on execution and falters on several landings. Earned a total of 54.765.

Vault

Kramerenko up first for Russia on vault. Double twisting Yurchenko has a low landing and large step forward. 14.466 from a 5.8 level of difficulty.
Tatiana Nabieva competes the same vault in her 2014 World debut- double twisting Yurchenko. Slight form break in her twisting, but great landing! Solid and right down the center of the mat. 14.700 from a 5.8 level of difficulty.
Mustafina in the third position. A third double twisting Yurchenko in the Russian lineup. Very clean in the air with a small hop on the landing. Strong vault. 14.900.
Sosnitskaya competes a Cheng. Not a great amount of height off the horse, lands with her chest down and takes multiple steps over the landing lines. Scored a generous  15.133. Second vault, double full Yurchenko with bent knees during the twist, stuck landing. Scored a 14.900 for an average of 15.016.
Kharenkova anchors Russia on vault with a Yurchenko full twist. Flawless execution off the table and into the air, but the lower level of difficulty will hurt. Scored a 13.90.

Russia finishes with a total score of 59.265 on vault.

Bars

Spirindonova with an absolutely beautiful start to the rotation. Inside stalder inside stalder full to Komova to Pak, combination executed to near perfection. Incredible extension on each bar element, ending with a huge full in double tuck dismount. 15.100 to start the bar scores.

Kharenkova begins with a tuck front, two back handsprings into layout step out, big wobble on the landing. Beautiful lines throughout the routine. Suffers a bad fall on her dismount- lands short, and rolls forward before saluting. Ended with a 12.933.
Spiridonova is stunning to watch on this event. Full turn holding her leg up, side aerial. Incredible extension on her leaps. Falls on her series, so Russia will have to count at least one fall on the event. Finishes with a 12.166.
Sosnitskaya is last up on beam, knowing she has to hit in order to avoid counting multiple falls. Round odd layout two feet, slight wobble on the landing. Solid front aerial to wolf jump connection.
