Top 10 Routines from 2014 World Championships
With the 2014 World Championships in the books, let’s take a look at the top 10 routines. The gymnasts and teams lived up to the hype this year with much anticipation as this was the first team World Championships since the Olympic Games in 2012. Let us know your favorite routine in the comments below. 

 
1. Simone Biles’ floor routine to secure her back to back World all-around titles. Biles scored a 60.231 to bring home the gold medal for team USA. She also scored a 15.333 being the only woman to break a score of 15.0 in finals.



2. Kohei Uchimura's high bar routine to secure his 5th straight world all-around title. Uchimura won the all-around with a score of 91.965. 



3. Yao Jinnan of China brought home the gold on bars with a score of 15.633. Jinnan connected beautiful releases to start off and continued with three gorgeous twisting elements in a row. She stuck her double layout dismount to cap of her stellar routine in front of the home crowd.  
 

 
4. Simone Biles wins gold on beam in event finals. She looked confident throughout her routine with only a few tiny balance checks. Biles won a tight competition with a score of 15.1.

Larisa Iordache - Floor - All Around Finals - 14.733
Iordache goes big with difficulty on floor to take home the silver medal in the women’s all-around. 


6. Jake Dalton’s floor routine during team finals. Dalton anchored floor with a huge set under pressure! He performed a layout arabian double, whip pike arabian, 1.5 to double twist. He’s looked flawless and nailed it for a big 15.9 to clinch the bronze medal for USA.
 
 
7. Kyla Ross performed a beautiful and elegant beam routine to help her win the bronze medal in the all-around. Ross' beam routine scored a 14.433.
 


8. Ri Se Gwaf of North Korea brings home gold on vault with an average 15.416. His first vault was an amazing pike Dragalescu for a 15.633. His second vault was an incredible Tsuk full in which he landed but had a big step to the side for a 15.2 He ended up hopping off the podium and he looked to injure one or possibly both of his ankles.



9. Aliya Mustafina brings home bronze on floor exercise. Mustafina was looking to bounce back on floor after a fall during all-around finals. She performed a new pass that she hadn't competed at this World Championships of a whip, whip, back handspring, to tuck Arabian double front. She scored a 14.733 for third place. 

 

10. Bar phenom Ashton Locklear was the only US woman to make bars event finals and she earned a 15.266 (6.5 difficulty score) with the routine below to place in fourth in the world.
