Improving on last weekend's roller coaster meet, the Florida Gators earned a 197.200 in their win
over the Auburn Tigers (195.650). Three Gators walked away with event titles: Alex McMurtry on vault, Bianca Dancose-Giambattisto on bars, and Kytra Hunter on floor. Auburn's Caitlin Atkinson earned the title on beam. Hunter and Atkinson did not only win an event title, but they were also the all-around co-champions with a 39.500.

Despite missing superstar Bridget Sloan, who is currently out with an injury, the Gators were able to overcome a few uncharacteristic missed routines without having to count a fall on any event. But, the highlight of the night was freshman Alex McMurtry anchoring the vault lineup and scoring a perfect 10.0 in her first meet in "The Swamp."

The Auburn Tigers also improved on their performance from last weekend, but were tenatative on their last event and suffered several falls on beam. Atkinson proved to be a clutch competitor for the Tigers, anchoring the beam lineup with a beautiful routine with a stuck roundoff-double pike dismount.
