Russian Men's Team Takes Gold In Baku
The men's team captured the team gold for Russia at the 2015 Baku Games with a score of 178.963. Ukraine came in second with a 177.429 and Azerbaijan took third with a 174.195. Russia was in second place after day one of qualifications, trailing Ukraine by just four tenths of a point, but came on strong during day two of competition to earn the gold.
Petro Paknyuk of Azerbaijan showed a spectacular floor routine after sustaining a bicep injury. He executed very difficult tumbling and helped lead Azerbaijan to a bronze medal. Watch his floor routine from qualifications below:
