Morgan Hurd Willing To Sacrifice For Big Dreams
Morgan Hurd may be tiny, but her dreams don't match her stature. Like many young, aspiring gymnasts, Hurd has Olympic-sized dreams, and is putting in the hard work to make those dreams a reality.

Hurd was recently featured in an article by Delaware Online, highlighting her successful P&G Championships performance. At the meet, she finished tied for fourth on bars, seventh on floor, and eighth in the all-around. She was very happy about her finish, and told us all about it in a post-meet interview:

Hurd was adopted from China when she was a toddler, and started gymnastics when she was just two years old. Along with gymnastics, she has tried several other sports, such as swimming, T-ball, skating and dance. In the end, gymnastics was her true passion, and she began homeschooling in order to focus on her goals.

In the article's video feature, Hurd says she doesn't just want to go to the Olympics--she wants to win the Olympics. She also hopes to compete in college gymnastics, and has seen interest from several schools already. But for now, she will continue to pursue a trip to the 2020 Summer Games.
