Truly Moving Floor Routine
British junior elite Cahterine Lyons has earned much praise for her new floor routine for the 2013 season. If you have not seen it yet, the routine is not to be missed.

Lyons displays one of the most artistic and entertaining routines we've seen so far in this new Code of Points. It's incredible to see this kind of expression and dance technique from a junior athlete. The masterpiece routine was choreographed by Lyons' personal coach Rochelle Douglas with the help of her ballet teacher.

BGtv recently released a great feature on the routine with Lyons and coach Douglas:

At the 2013 British Espoir Championships, Lyons took first on floor, second in the all-around, third on uneven bars, and fifth on beam.

Watch Lyons give a truly moving performance at the 2013 British Espoir Championships:

Lyons is slated to compete this weekend at the 2013 Junior Japan International. She will face American favorites Bailie Key and Laurie Hernandez. Lyons will become a senior elite gymnast in 2016, just in time for the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
