The adorable and exceptionally talented, Shallon Olsen of Vancover won her second consecutive national Junior all-around title at the 2013 Canadian Championships with a score of 55.475. Olsen also placed first on floor with a 15.225 and vault with a huge 15.8.

 

Olsen made a name for herself as a ten year old dare devil who easily landed  double twisting yurchenkos in competition [Video] and is still confidently competing the difficult vault. She trains at Omega gymnastics in British Columbia under Vladimir Lashin and Svetlana Lashina. Olsen won the all-around at the 2012 Top Gym Tournament. Previous winners of the event include  Shawn Johnson, Jordyn Wieber and Larisa Iordache. Olsen is quickly emerging as the future of Canadian gymnastics.
