Natalie Trejo is a senior Thunderbird this year and is having a great season to close out her career. Tonight, she, along with other SUU senior Arlyn Amor, will be honored on Senior Night as SUU hosts Michigan and UC Davis in a tri-meet - LIVE on FloGymnastics at 7 p.m. MT.

Trejo is coming off a career-high 9.9 anchor performance on floor last weekend when SUU was victorious at home over Brigham Young and Sacramento State with an impressive 195.975 team score. They will look to build on that momentum tonight in their final home meet of the season.

FloGymnastics: How old were you when you started gymnastics and how did you get involved?
Natalie Trejo: I was 3 1/2  years old. My mom took me to a dance class & a gym class. I chose gymnastics.

What’s you favorite event?
Beam. There is always a challenge.

What keeps you motivated in the gym?
The drive to want to be perfect.

If you had to switch to a different sport right now, which would you choose?
Dance (if that counts)

An Orthopedic surgeon
