Emma Malabuyo Named To Final USA Gymnix Team
Emma Malabuyo joins Jordan Chiles, Gabby Perea, and Deanne Soza on the U.S. team selected to compete at the 2016 International Gymnix. The nominative roster
Emma Malabuyo joins Jordan Chiles, Gabby Perea, and Deanne Soza on the U.S. team selected to compete at the 2016 International Gymnix. The nominative roster initially listed Maile O'Keefe but the roster was finalized during the February National Team Training Camp.
Malabuyo trains at Texas Dreams under coaches Kim Zmeskal-Burdette and Chris Burdette. Malabuyo qualified to the P&G Championships for the first time last year where she ended up 20th overall with a 50.250 on day one and a 55.050 on day two. She also finished seventh on beam and tied for ninth on floor.
International Gymnix will be Malabuyo's first international competition representing Team USA. FloGymnastics will be LIVE streaming all three days of competition as well as podium training.
