Gabby Douglas

Today, Nick Garner of SportsTalk4Kids (http://www.sportstalk4kids.com) met Olympic Gold Medalist Gabby Douglas, who was in town for the Kellogg's Tour of Gymnastics Champions 2012. Gabby talked to Nick about what it was like to be part of the USA Women's Gymnastics 2012 Team that won the gold medal for only the second time at the 2012 London Olympics. Golden Gabby also won the individual all-around gold medal, became the fourth American -- and the third in a row -- to be crowned Olympic Champion, joining Olympic athletes Nastia Liukin (2008), Carly Patterson (2004), and Mary Lou Retton (1984). Douglas, also known as "The Flying Squirrel," talked to Nick about all the sacrifices she made to become an Olympian, and what it felt like to stand on the podium when she won her two gold Olympic medals.
