Despite an extra swing on bars and a fall on her beam series, Ragan Smith finished in second out of all the competitors in women's qualifications. She totaled a 55.932 all-around and finished first in the floor standings with a 14.433. She talks about the words of encouragement she got in a text from Aly Raisman before the meet and is looking forward to redemption on bars and beam in the all-around final.
