Mia Viola Goes From Level 5 to Hopes Silver Medalist in One Year
Rochester's Mia Viola is the epitome of a rising star. She shares all about her gymnastics journey which started just a few years ago, although her skills would make you think otherwise. Viola was only a level five last year, but is incredibly talented and is shooting up through the levels faster than you'd think possible.
She took fifth all-around at the American Classic down at the Karolyi Ranch and qualified to the Hopes Championship held a few weeks ago in Hartford, CT. Viola tied for second all-around in the 10-11 age group with a 51.55. She also took third on beam and fourth on floor. Hopes Championship Results
