The 2016 Cancun Classic continued today with the level 9 and 10 sessions which featured some of the top club talent from across the nation. There were several standout gyms and competitors that made a mark throughout the competition.
In the level nine session, the Junior A all-around title went to Alyssa Vulaj of Wildfire who scored a 37.350. Her entertaining and energetic floor routine captured everyoneÂ’s attention and she took the title with a 9.7. Ella Walling of Tampa Bay Turners scored a 36.425 to secure the gold in the Junior B division. WildfireÂ’s Allison Rannalli put up a 37.30 for first place in the Senior division.
In the level 10 session, WildfireÂ’s Nicoletta Koulos came out with the Junior A all-around title scoring an impressive 37.60 with two falls. She showed off an outstanding floor routine and scored a 9.8 to earn the title. Derrian Gobourne of Lakewood Ranch took first in the Junior B division with a 37.875. In the senior division, Grace Kramer of Wildfire totaled a huge 38.00 to clinch the gold.
