The Italian Federation has confirmed USA's nominative roster for the 2016 City of Jesolo Trophy. USA plans to send 11 seniors and four juniors, likely choosing to put more emphasis on the seniors because of the Olympic year. The Jesolo Trophy takes place March 19 and 20. Note: nominative rosters may change before the competition.

Emily Gaskins
Rachel Gowey
Sydney Johnson-Scharpf
Ashton Locklear
Ragan Smith
Laurie Hernandez
Aly Raisman
Emily Schild
MyKayla Skinner
Emma Malabuyo
Gabby Perea
Deanne Soza
Leading the pack is three-time World All-Around Champion Biles along with Olympic Champion Raisman. Desiderio and Johnson-Scharpf will be making their international debuts. For Smith, Hernandez, Desiderio, Gaskins, and Johnson-Scharpf, this will be their first senior competition as they turn 16 in 2016.
Noticeably missing from the roster are Gabby Douglas and Maggie Nichols who just competed at the AT&T American Cup. Also missing are 2015 World Champions Madison Kocian and Brenna Dowell as well as second-year senior Bailie Key.
For 10 of the 11 seniors, this will be their first international meet in 2016 and they will likely be trying out new routines, skills, and combinations in this exciting Olympic year. Skinner will make her debut at the Glasgow World Cup on March 12.
All four juniors just competed at the International Gymnix in Montreal, Quebec where team USA won gold and Perea, Soza, and Malabuyo placed 1, 2, and 3 in the all-around.
