Sydney Johnson-Scharpf has announced she won't compete at the P&G Championships, beginning today at the Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis.
On Instagram, she noted she injured her knee in the training camp before the U.S. Classic and hasn't been able to fully heal in time to compete today.
2016 has been a big year for Johnson-Scharpf—she competed at the City of Jesolo Trophy back in March, which was not only her senior debut, but her international debut as well. Although Johnson-Scharpf's season has ended, she is determined to come back strong next year after this setback.
