Wisconsin-Whitewater Nabs Fifth NCGA Championship
The NCGA National team and all-around competition took place last night and the UW-Whitewater Warhawks came out on top.
The UW-Whitewater Warhawks tallied a team score of 193.700 for their second consecutive National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) championship win. The Warhawks came out on top in 2017 as well, adding a title to their current total of five team wins in UW-Whitewater history.

Second place went to Wisconsin-La Crosse for their 192.550; Brockport finished third (191.350).
In the individual all-around competition, the Warhawks collected another accolade as junior Lisa O’Donnell earned her second consecutive all-around title for her 38.675. Just under O’Donnell was Candis Kowalik (Brockport), who posted a 38.5, and third place went to Tori Erickson (Wisconsin-Eau Claire) for her score of 38.375.
The top eight individual competitors in the all-around finished with All-American honors.
