It was an intense fight to the end and tonight four gymnasts were crowned Nastia Cup champions. In the senior division, Mackenzie Brannan and McKenna Kelley tied for first with a 38.425, and Kari Lee finished third with a 38.275. In the Junior division Rachael Flam and Lauren Ramirez tied for first with a 38.1, Rachael Lukacs was third with a 38.05. 

For the seniors, Kennedi Edney took first on vault with a 9.875, Brannan was first on bars with a 9.7, Anna Glenn was first on beam with a 9.85, and Kelley took first on floor with a 9.675. For the juniors, Lukacs took first on vault with her big double twisting yurchenko and a 9.875, Flam won bars with a 9.55, Makarri Doggette took first on beam with a 9.6, and Lukacs won floor with a 9.6. 

After the first rotation Brannan took the lead with a huge yurchenko 1 1/2 for a 9.75. She continued her momentum on bars with a 9.7. On beam she got a 9.5 and finished on floor with a 9.475. McKenna Kelley Started on beam with a 9.65, went to floor with a beautiful crowd pleasing routine and scored a 9.675. On vault she scored a 9.75 and finished on bars with a 9.35. 

Rachael Flam was consistent and strong throughout the meet. She started on beam with a 9.55, had a little trouble on floor on her first pass, went out of bounds, and received a 9.25. She put floor behind her and had a great yurchenko 1 1/2 for a 9.75 and finished on bars with a 9.55. Ramirez started on bars with a 9.425, scored a 9.5 on beam, and a 9.55 on floor. She finished on vault with a huge full twisting yurchenko to score a 9.625.

Event Info
2014 marks the 5th year of the Nastia Liukin Cup, hosted by 2008 Olympic Champion Nastia Liukin. The exciting event features a competitive blend of the nation's top aspiring elites and level 10 gymnasts. Competition is scheduled for February 28th, in Greensboro, N.C., in conjunction with the American Cup (March 1). Gymnastike will be on-site for coverage.
