LSU And NC State Earn Solid Road Scores At Lady Luck Invite

LSU came away with a win on the road scoring a 195.825 to NC State’s 193.625. LSU also swept individual titles as Ashleigh Gnat won the all-around with a 38.975, Sydney Ewing won vault with a 9.925, Sarah Finnegan won bars with a 9.95, and Erin Macadaeg won beam with a 9.875 and floor with a 9.95.

LSU vs. NC State: Top Gymnasts To Watch

The LSU Tigers will battle it out against the North Carolina State Wolfpack on Thursday, Jan. 13th at the Lady Luck Invitational meet in Las Vegas. LSU had a stellar breakout performance in their first meet against Oklahoma and are currently tied for first place in the rankings. NC State, who finished in 33rd place last year, also had an impressive first meet against Penn State, who finished 13th last year. Both teams will hope to keep up the momentum and will be counting on key performances from some of their top stars on the team. Myia Hambrick On #1 LSU's Spectacular Start & First Travel Meet In Vegas

Myia Hambrick, a sophomore for the Tigers this year, started off the year with a bang at LSU’s season opener versus Oklahoma where she took the all-around title and helped LSU clinch the win. She earned SEC Co-Gymnast of the Week for her standout performance but is hungry for more.
