Canadian superstar Ellie Black successfully defended her 2015 Pan American Games all-around title as she finished ahead of silver medalist Riley McCusker and bronze medalist Flavia Saraiva of Brazil in the 2019 Pan American Games women's all-around competition in Lima, Peru. Though Saturday marked the conclusion of the 2018 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships, the final day of competition was nothing short of exciting. After winning bronze and gold medals on balance beam and floor exercise, respectively, Simone Biles increased her World medal count to 20, making her the most decorated female gymnast in World Championships history. Historically, Team USA has dominated the City of Jesolo Trophy, capturing both individual event medals and winning the team competition. In fact, the U.S. seniors have won the team competition every year since they started participating in 2010. This year, the USA is not fielding a team, but are rather allowing individual clubs to compete. This leaves the team competition wide open for the top of the podium on both the senior and junior sides.
